Credit Card Fraud Law EU

Credit Card Fraud Lawyers and Law Firms in Barcelona, Spain

    Credit Card Fraud

Credit card fraud law establishes criminal penalties for the deceptive or unauthorized use of another person’s credit card account in an attempt to steal money, goods, or services. Statutes prohibiting these types of crimes have been enacted at all levels of government. They are enforced by a number of agencies, from local police departments to the U.S. Secret Service.

CARD FRAUD IS CRIMINAL ACTIVITY IN THE EU

Why is my account being closed Ms. May?

We were charged $19.77 for an 800 number beginning June 2009. Your website shows the charge should have been changed to $14 for an 888 number as of February 2010.

    Please see details:

Please have your legal department answer our request for a refund for overcharging our cards for seven years.

“Despite the many credits we have provided and the fact that you haven’t paid for service in over a year, obviously you are still not happy with our service.  Therefore, we ask that you port your number to another provider.”

I believe you / your companies have not resolved this problem.

Credit / Debit Card Fraud is considered a criminal charge in Europe. So decide how you want to resolve this – today.
We will have to file a police report here. The laws are different here in Spain than the US.

    I await your prompt response.

    Ms. May,

Will you just stop acting like an xxx?
The small amount of internet research I have done – shows that I am not the only customer who has had strange problems with your company.

As far as my recorded conversations show – I have not harassed anyone in my life – much less your staff. To the contrary – I find your emails to be quite strange – unprofessional and abusive.

Credit / Debit Card Fraud is considered a criminal charge in Europe. So decide how you want to resolve this – today.

I do kindly suggest you stop responding with emotional rebuttals – stand up to your responsibilities as a Company to a Customer of eight + years - and have an attorney confirm the legal aspects here in Europe as well as in the USA (where you have also charged my Cards).

When I have time, I would love to “speak with you verbally”. I just do not have time - since requested repeatedly since last:

    xxx,

If you wish to resolve this issue you will need to speak to me verbally, You have been harassing our staff for years. We will not allow you to continue to verbally abuse our staff. You may now only speak with me verbally. Feel free to call me anytime.  A full refund will be issued once we speak.

    Thank you,

    Subject: Account 191841 Final Resolution

    Hello Jan,

I’ve tried to call you several times to work this out, my calls have not been returned.  I was hoping we could work this out to your satisfaction.

We have refunded your recent payments totaling $18 USD.  Due to the large credits we previously provided, there have been no previous payments/charges on your account since 2016.

Despite the many credits we have provided and the fact that you haven’t paid for service in over a year, obviously you are still not happy with our service.  Therefore, we ask that you port your number to another provider.

The porting process typically only takes about 3-5 business days.   We will keep your account active until the port is complete or Feb 28, whichever occurs first.

We’re sorry we couldn’t meet your expectations, we wish you the best with your new toll free carrier.

    Kind regards,

    Melinda May
